This documentary by Bill White and Dr. Jo Anne Van Tilburg shows the Moai, the giant stone statues on Easter Island and the efforts being done to document and protect them. Dr. Van Tilburg is the founder and director of the Easter Island State Project (eisp.org). Van Tilburg and her volunteer team document and help protect the Moai. Van Tilburg has written several books about Easter Island, its people, and a biography of the first archaeologist on the island, Katherine Routledge.
