Is Korg of Hulk's Warbound suppose to be based off the Moai Statues?

His Head looks pretty similar to the heads of the Moai statues?

It doesn't seem that the Kronans (Korg's race) were intended to be Moai, they're just another Kirbian stone race:

However, it's possible that at some point the Moai in the Marvel Universe will be retconned to have been inspired by the Kronans.

Note, though...the overall body shape of a Kronan is decidedly different from the bodies of Moai (some of which do have visible bodies).
